Upgrading Monbulk Schools Brick By Brick
More students in Monbulk will soon have access to the first-class classrooms and facilities they deserve, with work under way upgrading Monbulk Primary School.
Member for Monbulk James Merlino MP today announced that Harris HMC Constructions has been appointed to complete the upgrade, which will include a new grade 5 and 6 building, new administration building, a new library and two new competition-grade outdoor netball courts at Monbulk Primary School.
Monbulk Primary School’s upgrade will create local jobs, with work expected to be completed in 2022.
Under the Andrews Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
The Andrews Labor Government has invested $7.2 billion to deliver more than 1,460 school upgrades, supporting over 7,500 construction jobs for Victorians.
The Labor Government is building the Education State so that every student can access a great local school and get a quality education.
