MATER CHRISTI COLLEGE STUDENTS HONOURED IN PREMIER’S VCE AWARDS

Mater Christi College students have been recognised alongside the state’s best performing VCE students in the Premier’s VCE Awards.

Member for Monbulk James Merlino MP today congratulated Lucy Fenton and Lillie Park Jenkinson on their outstanding achievement.

• Lucy Fenton was recognised with an award in Outdoor and Environmental Studies.
• Lillie Park Jenkinson was recognised with an award in History Revolutions.

A total of 297 Victorian students received 323 awards across 90 subjects, including 297 Study Awards, 23 Top All-Round VCE High Achiever Awards and three Top International Student Awards.

The Top All-Round VCE High Achiever awards recognise those students who achieved study scores of 46 or higher out of 50 in at least five VCE subjects, while Study Awards recognise the best performers in individual VCE subjects.

The Andrews Labor Government is delivering on its promise to build the Education State so every Victorian student can get a great education.

The Labor Government’s $60.2 million investment Student Excellence Program is equipping schools with the resources, tools and professional learning opportunities needed to support high-ability students.

Every government school now has a high-ability practice leader to coordinate their school’s participation in these programs and to support their high-ability students.
