‘Bridging the gap’- DRERS Christmas appeal
James Merlino, Member for Monbulk has taken the opportunity to donate a special Christmas hamper to the ‘Bridging the Gap’ Christmas appeal and has today urged everyone to get involved and help those in need.
“There are a number of things that come to mind when most people think about Christmas and the New Year – family time, sunshine, the joy of giving and receiving, holidays and children’s laughter.
However, not everyone is so fortunate. There are many people in our community that at this time, rather than feel joy, will experience loneliness, financial hardship and personal difficulties.” said Mr Merlino
