Please help to get this message out…

Victorian Labor will re-open Swinburne Lilydale but we need your help to promote this campaign via new cinema ads. Cinema ads are quite expensive but it’s an important message for our community. If you feel strongly about this issue, can I please ask for your help to chip in with a small donation to help get the campaign shown in our local cinemas.

In June 2013, Swinburne Lilydale shut its doors because of Denis Napthine’s TAFE cuts. This sad decision generated an astounding reaction in the community.

Thousands of people were worried about the future of the outer-east, with its only university and TAFE campus chained up at the gate.

They knew that young people in our area deserved a local facility to get the skills they need.

Victorian Labor, if elected in November 2014, will re-open Swinburne Lilydale and restore higher education and TAFE on the campus.

Labor will do whatever it takes to preserve this site as a place of learning, including compulsory acquisition.

Swinburne Lilydale doesn’t belong to a developer with a big cheque. It belongs to our community. The Liberals took it away and only Labor will put it back.

But we need your help to get the message out. Tell your friends and neighbours. Only a vote for Victorian Labor in November will save Swinburne Lilydale.
