WANDIN RECREATION RESERVE TO SHARE IN RECORD SPORT INVESTMENT
Wandin Recreation Reserve will share in the biggest investment in women’s and community sport in Victoria’s history thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Wandin Recreation Reserve will receive $1 million to build a new multi-purpose sporting and community pavilion, which will cater for the growing numbers of locals signing up to play the sports they love.
The pavilion will provide a massive boost for local clubs including Wandin Football Netball Club, Wandin Junior Football Club and Wandin Cricket Club.
The funding will be provided through a $60 million Community Sports Fund announced by the Labor Government as part of a $241.7 million boost for community sport in the Victorian Budget 2018/19.
