The government is helping Sherbrooke Archers stay on target with a bullseye of a grant.

Member for Monbulk, James Merlino MP today announced the club would receive $1995 from the Government’s Sport and Recreation Emergency Equipment Grants program.

The grant allows the club to replace a first aid defibrillator that was lost through criminal theft.

Each year, the government provides $30,000 through the Sport and Recreation Emergency Equipment Grants program.

It provides swift, practical support to get clubs up and running again in their time of need.

The Victorian Government is working hard to give all Victorians the opportunity to play the sports they love, and embrace a more active and healthy lifestyle.

Since being elected, the government has invested more than $740 million in initiatives to make sure our suburban and regional clubs and our iconic sporting stadiums have the modern facilities they need to grow.
